Health Coach Navigator

The 16-week Mymee digital therapeutics program results in individualized treatment to reverse symptoms of autoimmune disease, including lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Hashimoto’s, Crohn’s, and other conditions.

A health coach investigator utilizes food intake data and the client’s experience with their symptoms to generate initial hypotheses about correlations between potential triggers and symptoms.  Each week, the investigator tests hypotheses through tracking a small number of symptoms and potential triggers, and/or implementing interventions and tracking the results. Coaches can be anywhere in the U.S. because the program is done virtually via smartphone app and phone calls.

Primary functions and responsibilities include:

  • Coaching assigned clients on a weekly basis or as needed, while meeting Mymee’s quality outcomes

  • Monitoring client tracking via the Mymee coaching platform

  • Completing assessments, maintaining notes, and completing final documentation on each client

  • Participating in regular client case sessions and other learning, support, and development opportunities,


  • Certification as a health coach by a health coaching program that includes a focus on optimal functioning of the body and its organs (eg. Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, Functional Nutrition Lab, The University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine Integrative Health Coaching, or equivalent training with a functional medicine approach)

  • Two years experience in health behavior change and health coaching

  • Demonstrated commitment to a functional medicine approach

  • Personal experience (self, family, or friend) with autoimmune disease


  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster trust and respect among clients and team

  • Strong analytical and pattern-recognition skills

  • Investigative questioning skills

  • Adept with technology and learning new technology (eg. Google Drive, Docs and Sheets

  • Able to work a flexible schedule, independently and remotely
